Pete the Cat LOVES his white shoes
My kids love this book! I keep borrowing it from the public library and wish they had the new one. We did get to listen to it and sing along! Mrs. Jump had a great unit on it and we used some of the ideas during our first short week of first grade. Take a look at our Petes!
Tomorrow we will graph the colors of shoes and use the social studies idea of doing things and not complaining! By the way--the following directions was so important in knowing how to cut the paper into all the different body parts. I think they did great!

They did do great - I love them! Did you provide them with a body already traced or did they all just freehand cut it? I'd love to do this project with my first graders but I suspect that my kids would make teeny tiny petes, he he! Thanks! Lisa quiltwoman0@gmail.com
