Day 3
On the third day of our study, we are beginning with a poem called Deep in the Heart of the Rainforest. This poem allows us to search for nouns and verbs (animals and their sounds). This gives the kids another chance to decide upon what direction they are wanting to research.
After the kids are beginning to research, read, google, watch a National Geographic video on the animals of the rainforest, they are again ready to record their learnings to this point.
It is the "wow" things that they are really impressed with!
